Tourism Excellence Awards Unveils 2027 Categories

Twelve award categories will honour outstanding achievement across hospitality, conservation, innovation, and cultural tourism at this year’s gala.
The Tourism Excellence Awards, the prestigious centrepiece of POATE, has announced twelve competitive categories for 2027, spanning hospitality, conservation, digital innovation, and cultural stewardship.
New this year is the Regenerative Tourism Award, recognising operators whose work actively restores ecosystems and uplifts communities — a reflection of the expo’s sustainability theme.
The black-tie gala will take place on the evening of 21 May in the Victoria Grand Ballroom, with nominations open to operators across the continent.
