African Development Bank Joins as Headline Investment Partner

The AfDB will anchor POATE’s investment programme, hosting a dedicated tourism financing forum during the three-day expo.
The African Development Bank has been confirmed as the headline investment partner for POATE 2027, bringing its continental tourism financing agenda to the heart of the expo.
The partnership includes a dedicated investment forum, hosted deal-making sessions, and a keynote from Dr. Kwame Osei, the Bank’s Director of Tourism Investment.
“Tourism is one of Africa’s most powerful engines for inclusive growth,” said Dr. Osei. “POATE is where capital meets opportunity, and we are proud to deepen our commitment this year.”
